Welcome back to the i9advantage video blog.

In late March, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced it had paused premium expedited processing for H-1-B visa applications.

As a result, since April second, two thousand eighteen, employers have been barred from the right to pay more than the usual processing fee to guarantee that these work authorization applications are handled in fifteen days or less.

Usually, U-S-C-I-S suspends expedited processing to deal with backlogged visa applications several times each year. However, since this latest pause, employers are receiving requests for additional information about the workers they're hoping to legally hire - more than ever before.

It behooves employers to make sure Form I-9 and all other necessary employment compliance paperwork is in order. Contact i9advantage today to learn more about how our solution can help you.
